Martin Luther King's Jr was an inspiration when times were tough. People looked up to him because of his power and individuality. Society decided that segregation of blacks was okay. They thought that white people were better than blacks. Mr Luther King Jr didn't become famous because he sat around, he became famous for sticking out of the crowd and doing what he believed was right. His individuality turned the US upside-down in the greatest way. He was the leader of groups that fought for what they thought was right. Society didn't think this was okay, but his drive was strong enough to keep pushing for what he believed. His "I Have a Dream" speech is very well known. He discusses why blacks should have as many rights as whites, and later his dreams came true. His individuality not only got him closer to achieving his American Dream, but got thousands of Black people closer to their dreams. He helped to overthrow societies opinions for the better.
