Susan B Anthony was Perhaps the most well-known women’s rights activist in history. Anthony was raised to be independent and outspoken. She and well as her family believed that women should be equal to men. Before she started campaigning she was a girls school teacher. She decided to join the American Anti-Slavery Society, and lectured across New York State. She campaigned and was successful. She got others to campaign as well. She continued to fight for the vote until she died on March 13, 1906. Although she didn't achieve her goal when she was alive, she helped to achieve her goal and others helped as well. She and many other women are the reason why women rare treated equally. She helped make the American Dream possible for women all over the country. Society believed that women shouldn't have as many rights as men, like to vote. But by her showing her individual thoughts, she overcame her obstacle (society) and her individualism was the greatest thing she could've had.
